This chain is the the perfect replacement for my old chain
I put DID vx3 chains on almost all my bikes. They have a good coating that keeps them from rusting and they tend to require less adjustment over time compared to others. I give it 5 starts because it comes with a clip-type master link that is unnecessarily tight and very difficult to install. The chain also comes coated in grease. Be sure to wipe it off before using the chain so it doesn't create a mess. It's a great quality chain. Arrived sooner than expected. It's the third one installed on KTM 990. Currently has just over 50,000 km!It is really quiet. I got it quickly in time for a trip through back country and performed perfectly.I always change the sprockets with a new chain. Thanks for the fast shipping and careful packaging. The only downside is that the shipping costs are very high. The economic shipping is no longer available.
I used to use cheaper non-seal chain over the years and it is good but chain strech like a rubber band.need to set chain adjuster so oftenly.Much Higher Quality Chain Like VX SERIES CHAIN BIT PRICY AND IT HAS X-RING ON IT.DOESN'T STRECH LIKE A STANDARD NON SEALED CHAIN.PURCHASE THIS D.I.D VX SERIES CHAIN FOR MY 1987 TW200 AND I FORGET TO PURCHASED CHAIN RIVET TOOL AT THE SAME TIME.WITHOUT CHAIN RIVET TOOL COULDN'T ABLE TO 100% SUCCESSFULLY PRESS THE MASTER LINK,IT CALL CAULK (ZJ) JOINT.If anyone looking to buy this chain for your bike , you desperately need chain rivert tool. don't forget it when you place a order..New x-ring chain installation little bit tricky. This time I only change a x-ring chain because my front and rear sprockets are in a good condition however I noted and mark the milage .first I have to remove the old master link and connected the x-ring chain (no need to zip tie) rotate until the new x-ring chain arrival.then lube up the four x-ring and the msater link evenly. using a chain rivet tool need to press the chain master link.according to the D.I.D FLARE DIMENSIONS CHART CHAIN FLARE MUST BE BETWEEN 5.2MM -5.7MM. CHAIN LINK WIDTH IS 18MM.I manage to set the flare at 5.2mm. measure with the calipers and went for a test drive to make sure it's fully secure or you can check by hand before went for a ride. I’m very impressed! They offer a great selection of original, high-quality motorcycle parts that fit perfectly. The website is easy to navigate, and I had no trouble finding what I needed. Previous reviews mentioned that the tool got damaged. It has a design flaw. Similar tools have addressed this issue. You can fix it by drilling small grooves; the locking bolt will fit into these grooves, allowing for long-term use without damage.I bought this tool for wheel seals and suspension seals. I have a different model for pulling seals, but I bought this one just in case I need it. It has found its place in my tool kit. I use Daytona tools, and with their Japanese quality and price, you can choose them without hesitation.View Detail
I was hesitant about buying this simple tool, thinking it might be a waste of money. If you've got a bike you NEED this tool to easily remove the dust seals WITHOUT damaging them so you can grease the actual inner fork seal. So glad I bought this and it's heavily made too. It's reasonable for its price. I recommend it!View Detail
I bought this gasket scraper before; it’s more practical and durable than a classic sharp blade or utility knife. I gave it as a gift to a friend who really liked it. It truly looks high-quality and stays sharp. Thanks to Webike for offering it at a good price.View Detail
I use the metal tool for the front suspension seals. I bought it to replace the piston ring of the rear suspension. I tried installing the ring without this tool, and it got damaged. I found the most affordable option on Webike. When I disassemble the suspension for maintenance, I will also replace the piston ring.View Detail
Set the depth indicated on the metal tube as required, then pull out any excess oil to meet factory oil height specification. The markings on the tube were most helpful to do that. Having only used it on one pair of fork legs, I can't really address its long term durability but it seems like it would continue to work for several more sessions.edit; My feelings are a bit mixed about this tool. It is very simple to use, reasonably priced, and nice to have. But when using it, the plunger mechanism got stuck several times and was shockingly hard to free up. This is very odd but it felt like the steel tube got clogged and yet I was using new, 5W oil and there were no impurities. The rubber plunger inside the syringe is so tacky, it?s hard to pull. At times I pull so hard I?m concerned it may give, flinging fork oil everywhere. View Detail
