I realize that most of the aftermarket full exhaust systems and slip-on silencers often leave a section (usually the part between the underbelly of the bike to the silencer) of the exhaust pipe exposed to the open air. I find this very dangerous because the parking spaces from where I live are very narrow. When parking the bike, my right calf muscles may some times accidentally make contact with the exposed pipe and burn me. This heat guard prevents direct contact and thus reduces burns.
