The tall windshield is the easiest and best modification you can make. The stock version just fires air at your throat (I\'m 5\' 9\" tall with a 30\" inseam), but this one lifts the air high on the helmet. Best of all, it does not get in the way of your view.That said, I added some washers under the rear mounts to kick the shield up a little more. No idea how much you could pile under there, but it does not take much to make a large difference. The gating factor is the support at the lower end of the shield. That might be able to be shaved to increase the height more. All I can say is that you do have some adjustability.Installation is very easy. Use the 5mm Allen wrench that came with your NM4 to remove the 4 bolts that hold the stock screen. Then just reinstall with the new one. Be careful not to lose the rubber pads when you take off the bolts.(other mods I\'ve made: Heated grips, USB outlet, topcase, and move rear brake to left hand)

I am 5 feet 11 inches. The NM4-02 is the first motorcycle I have owned and the high windscreen was the first change I did to the bike. It has made a huge difference in riding. With my head being above the original windscreen I would get wind coming into the helmet and would shake the helmet when my head turned. With the high windscreen on, my helmet doesn\'t shake from wind and the noise has decreased significantly.
